Steve Lemmon

Certificate Member & RSES Instructor

Steve has been a member of RSES since 1994 and a CM (Certificate Member) since 1999. Steve is currently a service representative with Northeast HVAC Solutions, the upstate New York manufacturer’s representative for Marley/SPX cooling towers and Armstrong Fluid Technology, among others. He has been in a service truck for 25 years; in hotel maintenance and engineering for 10 years before that; was a student employee with the electricians at RIT while getting his BS in Travel and Tourism Management and grew up on a farm. Steve has been a student in many RSES classes and has taught RAC 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 as well as the Heat Pump class. Always remember, “Lunch is one of the 4 most important meals of the day."

Jonathan Wilcox

RSES Instructor

Jonathan began his career in 2002 at one of Rochester’s largest industrial/commercial HVAC-R outfits. During his 3-year apprenticeship, Jonathan completed many courses and trainings, including RSES courses. Through RSES, he was a recipient of the Emil T. Zolo CM Award. After his apprenticeship was completed, he continued as a Service Technician, focusing on commercial refrigeration. After serving as a technician with the same organization for nearly 10 years, Jonathan moved on to become the Service Manager for a mechanical contractor that served both the residential and commercial markets, working in that position for 2 years. Eventually, Jonathan decided to merge his trade-based skills and managerial experience by starting his own company, Wilcox Service Company, in 2013. In the time since Jonathan has grown Wilcox Service Company to be one of the area’s most reliable and
fastest-growing refrigeration companies. Despite the responsibilities owning his own business brings, Jonathan still enjoys fieldwork and tries to get in a van as often as possible to help handle service calls and assist his team members when needed.
